Hi! Writing from Bali! But going to hold off on Bali stories for now (only been here for one day but there's already so much to share). Since I last wrote, my family visited and I went to Melbourne!
Having my family come visit me was amazing for a lot of different reasons. One - I didn't realize how comfortable I've become in Sydney and how much it has become a part of me in the past two months. Showing other people around the place I have come to love so much made me appreciate it through a different perspective. It's been a weird feeling being in the second half of abroad. Everyone I speak to feels it, we all so desperately don't want it to end. I know we still have a long time, but it feels like time speeds up with each day that passes.
With my family, I took them to Bondi to Coogee walk (I've never even done the full walk until doing it with them, so that was cool). We went to the zoo and the Blue Mountains, and did the Bridge Climb over Sydney Harbor. It was great to play tourist for a few days. Then, we went to Melbourne. There we saw penguins migrate (believe it) and a koala be operated on (believe it again). I'm glad I got to see Melbourne, but it's definitely true what they say. Much more like NYC than Sydney. I prefer Sydney!
Today, I woke up at 4 am and flew to BALI! It was sad to say bye to my family and makes me feel even more like abroad is almost over. But, I'm trying to really just enjoy every second and take it day by day. Right now, we are in an incredible massive villa with a private pool and the most beautiful views you could imagine. We are all terrified to eat and drink. It's intense gratefulness and excitement mixed with incredible fear. That being said, this experience is definitely going to be a growth moment for all of us. To anyone reading - pray I don't get Bali Belly. As I've said before, it's hard to complain when everything is so overwhelmingly amazing.
Sorry for the short post - more coming soon. Bye now.

We also loved playing tourist for those days! We loved seeing your spaces, eating at your restaurants, and living your life for a few days! And we are thrilled at how amazing this semester has been for you!
